Antonio Alessandria's love for fragrance began at an early age. He grew up surrounded by creativity. His mother worked in fashion while the sounds of classical piano filled the family home through the performances of his sister. This artistic environment nurtured his appreciation for beauty, craftsmanship and self expression.

Despite this creative upbringing, Antonio initially chose a different path. He studied Electronic Engineering and began a successful career within the technical industry. Yet his fascination with perfume never disappeared. The world of fragrance continued to inspire him, eventually becoming impossible to ignore.

Boudoir 36: Sharing a Passion with the World

Driven by his growing love for artistic perfumery, Antonio decided to share his passion with others. In 2005 he opened Boudoir 36, an elegant perfume boutique located in the historic centre of Catania. Situated near the city's vibrant nightlife district, the boutique allowed him to combine his professional career with his growing involvement in the world of fragrance.

Stepping into Boudoir 36 was like entering a different world. The boutique reflected the rich cultural heritage of Sicily, a land shaped by countless civilizations throughout history. Warm, intimate and timeless, it became a place where visitors could discover the history of perfume while experiencing Antonio's carefully curated collection of artistic fragrances.

From Boutique owner to Perfumer

Antonio's passion eventually evolved into a professional calling. To deepen his knowledge, he pursued formal fragrance training through Mouillettes & Co. in Italy as well as the prestigious Cinquième Sens in Paris. These studies provided him with the technical expertise needed to transform his creative vision into original perfume compositions.

In 2014, he took the next step by launching Antonio Alessandria Parfums. From the very beginning, his goal was clear. He wanted to create fragrances that carried emotion, personality and narrative depth. Every perfume would become a work of art crafted with meticulous attention to detail and a profound understanding of olfactory harmony.

His creations do not simply smell beautiful. They tell stories.

A distinctive signature in Niche Perfumery

The debut collection immediately revealed Antonio's artistic identity. His fragrances explored darker, richer territories often centred around earthy accords, smoky nuances, spices, woods, and unexpected gourmand touches. Fragrances such as Noir Obscur, Nuit Rouge and Gattopardo have since achieved cult status among niche perfume enthusiasts.

Released in 2023, the fragrance tells the story of his grandparents, Giuseppina and Sebastiano. Rather than beginning at the start of their romance, the perfume captures a specific moment. A rose is offered beneath the warm Sicilian sun. It is a memory transformed into fragrance.

The composition opens with a rich rose accord accompanied by velvety geranium and vibrant raspberry.
