The seventh fragrance created by Antonio Alessandria for his eponymous brand is called Fàra, like the heat that drives men to hurry in search of refreshment with a drink at the ‘cioschi’. Their intense thirst could only be quenched by drinking eagerly, almost everything in one gulp. The cold drink refreshes the body from within, but also flows over the warm skin, providing external refreshment too. The drink, as it evaporates from the skin, takes on a new life and exudes a quiet and insinuating sensuality. The scent of citrus fruits, mint and salt mingles with that of the skin, evoking a sultry and elegantly mysterious atmosphere.

Fàra opens with a citrus accord dominated by lemon, bergamot and finger lime. The icy note of peppermint provides a counterpoint to the fluid and sparkling citrus. At the heart, a hint of floral notes—magnolia petals beaded with water droplets—allows the sensual note of cumin to blossom. In the base, the dry note of cedarwood evokes the aridity of Sicily in summer; in a discreet and quiet manner, a subtle hint of incense creeps in, suggesting the mystery of a desert land where a human presence is only just perceptible. Musky notes celebrate the ultimate marriage between the scent of the cocktail and the skin.
