Aludra is inspired by a tale of humility, wisdom, and unexpected destiny. Long ago, a wise and benevolent king sought a worthy husband for his beautiful and intelligent daughter. He decreed that every eligible man with a home and profession could present himself before the princess. For months, noblemen, merchants, and craftsmen came to seek her hand. Then one day, a young farmer entered the great hall. Met with ridicule because of his simple clothing, he quietly crossed the room and placed an old, weathered stone at the princess's feet. Without offering an explanation, he bowed respectfully, smiled mysteriously, and left the hall, leaving the princess and everyone present astonished by his strange gesture.
