During the Year of Zayed, we embarked on a journey back in time through the memories of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Along this journey, we reflected on the stories told about him, his passions, his values and the scents he loved. It was within the neighborhoods inspired by Zayed’s heritage that the idea for The Scent of Ambergris was born, inspired by the stories that Sheikh Zayed deeply admired the aroma of ambergris.

With this inspiration in mind, the vision was to create a fragrance that highlights the sweetness and richness of this precious element. And who better to bring this vision to life than renowned German perfumer Olaf Larsen, who resides in the United Arab Emirates and is celebrated for his passion and expertise in oriental perfumery.

The fragrance opens with the luminous freshness of mandarin. At its heart, luxurious leather unfolds with elegance and depth, before settling into a distinctive aromatic base of ambergris and oud, creating a soothing, relaxing, and earthy aura.
